W. Griswold Hurlbert

"Gris"

Gris Hurlbert spent twenty-five years in manufacturing , most of which with The Bostwick Steel Lath Company in Niles, Ohio.  For fifteen years, he held the position of President, Treasurer, and CEO until Bostwick's sale in 1989.

 

Gris Hurlbert joined The Routh Company, a firm which has specialized in Commercial and Industrial Real Estate in the Warren-Youngstown region for over 25 years.  Adapting quickly to his new field, he qualified for his Broker's license in 1995.  Always interested in improving his skills, Gris has satisfied the course requirements for a CCIM designation.  His varied business/financial skills from 35 years in the business have proven valuable to his clients in improving their business real estate situations.

Charles L. Joseph

"Chuck"

Chuck Joseph, originally from Salem, Ohio, attended Youngstown State University earning a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering.  Began working directly out of college with the Packard Electric Division of General Motors (now part of Delphi).  His last position with Delphi was Packard's Global Facilities Manager.  He earned an Executive MBA from Kent State University in 1994 and retired from Delphi with 31 years experience.

 

Chuck passed the state required licensing test in April of 2002, and after a brief time with Century21, decided to utilize his Delphi experience in facilities management and leasing by joining Routh-Hurlbert and working in the Industrial/Commercial side of real estate.  Chuck's business experience, plus his CCIM education, has been helpful in assisting his clients with real estate matters.

Walter H. Gruger

"Bud"

Bud Gruger has lived in Boardman, Ohio all his life and has been involved with the Warren-Youngstown's industrial and commercial base for over 46 years.

 

After graduation from the University of Notre Dame, he completed a tour of duty in the Air Force.  Bud returned to Boardman and joined the Phoenix Electric Company, where he worked for over 40 years, retiring from the presidency in 1998.

 

Bud began working for Routh-Hurlbert in 2003.  Knowledge of industrial properties in the region and his familiarity with most of the industrial facilities in the area are key to his helping both sellers and buyers optimize their possibilities.
